2019 is fast approaching and if I'm honest...I can't wait to say goodbye to 2018. This year has been an interesting one for sure and I can't wait to have a new start and a new year. I feel like opinions on setting new years resolutions and the idea of a new start have changed. A lot of people still love setting new goals and achievements but a lot of people now are against the idea. Personally, I don't really have a preference. If people want to set them, then great! But if people don't like the idea of new years resolutions, then that's fine too. It's all down to the individual and where you are in your life. Some people may not need to set any goals as they are happy with how things and are going and some people may always be working on their goals all year round. Some people don't see a point in setting resolutions as they know they will last a couple of days and some people like the idea of a fresh start and the idea of setting some targets to go into the new year with. That's where I'm currently sitting...looking at 2019 as a new start and a beginning to set some targets and goals for myself.

I usually try and set myself some resolutions every year, but for some reason, this year I am more determined than ever to set myself some new goals and new starts. 2018 has been full of ups and downs for me and I'm ready to say goodbye to some situations as well as some people. I guess this is a completely normal thing for everyone as a lot can happen in a year. Don't get me wrong, there were so many amazing highlights of 2018! I gained an amazing friend, I met one of my biggest inspirations In The Frow, I did a skydive, I got another tattoo, I dyed my hair dark, I went on some epic road-trips, I saw some amazing artists in concert, I went to Greece with one of my best friends, I bought a new car, I relaunched my blog, I started working with an amazing Photographer, I turned 21 and so much more! Out of everything that happened this year, one of the things that I am most excited about and happy to announce is that on the 27th December, my sister had a baby! That's right...I'm an Auntie. Welcome to the world Ophelia Grace Forster! So there has been some great things to happen in 2018 that I will be forever grateful for but as always, there also has been some bad things to happen in 2018! But, I am hoping to leave most of that behind with 2018 and start 2019 with positivity!
