What Does Beauty Mean To You?

When you hear the word beauty, what do you think of? Do the words makeup or healthy, strong, confident, fashion, come to mind? The wonderful thing about beauty is that it doesn't define just one word. Beauty can mean something different to everyone and can include so many different aspects. It could be terms of looks or beauty could be including whats on the inside of a person as well.

To me, beauty does cover so many different things. One side of this is the makeup world. Beauty does generally categorise things like products, tutorials, looks, shades, etc. Personally, I do really enjoy this side of beauty. I love how someone can be whoever they want to be with the power of makeup. One day, they could choose to be very glamorous and the next, very natural and confident. When it comes to makeup, there really are no limits. As long as someone feels comfortable and confident, then there's really no issue. If someone hates the idea of makeup and feels amazing without wearing it, then that's incredible too! Some days I will want to wear makeup but others I feel happy with my skin as it is...again, it doesn't matter as everyday can be different in the world of makeup.

'Be your own kind of beautiful.'

Beauty also means a whole different thing for me. Beauty includes how a person is on the inside. If someone is kind, caring and someone you want to be around, then to me that's beauty too. Beauty doesn't just include what someone's appearance is like, it includes their personality and the way they act. Again, this part will mean something different to everyone and we will all see people differently. I believe that true beauty shines from in and it's always something that I have stood by. Yes, appearance is usually the first thing you see, but the most important thing is how a person truly is. Beauty can be intelligence, helping others, doing what you love, sense of humour, hard work and determination and so much more!

Beauty comes in all different shapes and sizes. This is such an important aspect for so many people around the world. I love that more and more, we are seeing this message being shared. Beauty 100% shouldn't be something that is categorised to one thing because everyone is beautiful in their own way. Being yourself and being proud of who you are is the best thing that you could do. Beauty shines through your own skin, body and personality. Nobody should ever put down another body type. I have always said that as women, we should lift each other up and give each other confidence. Sticking together is always the best option as you won't gain anything at all by bringing somebody else down.

'We come in many different shapes and sizes, and we need to support each other and our differences. Our beauty is in our differences.'

One of the main things that I think about when it comes to beauty is feeling healthy and strong. I have never been bothered about what size I am or what I weigh, as long as I am feeling strong and healthy, then this is all that matters. For me, this is the best outlook on things and keeps me feeling motivated. I couldn't care less about numbers because for me, all that's important is how I feel. Again, everyone will have their own outlook on this, and as long as it works for you, then go for it. I am motivated by different things compared to some. If I watch a film where there is a leading female role who is showing strength, kindness and basically being kick ass, then this will motivate me so much more then seeing someone on a fashion runway. To me, this is beauty. For example, one woman who inspires me is Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Watching this feel makes me feel so motivated to feel strong and amazing!

'Stronger than you believe.'

So what does beauty mean to you? I would love to know what you guys think as this can be such an inspirational topic and can mean so many different things to everyone. Feeling beautiful is something that everybody wants. The goal for me is feeling strong, but the goal for you may be so different. As long as you're happy and feeling amazing, then there really is no limit.

'Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.'
