Who Said Girls Can't Wear Suits?

Today's post is a fashion post! I haven't wrote one of these in a while and I knew that it was time for another one. Today I am going to be talking about suits...I have become a little obsessed with them lately. I know suits are usually seen as something for men that they wear to work or to a wedding, but the times have changed and now they are seen as so much more!

Suits are now such a big thing in the world of fashion and I'm all for it! I never thought I would be interested in this trend at first but now I am so in love with it. There are so many different ways that you can style a suit and I have just seen so much inspiration from absolute girl bosses!

You Should Give Yourself More Credit

So today I'm going to discuss something which I have been thinking about a lot recently and of course I had to share it on the blog! Lately everything has been very very busy and quite full on! I seem to have something on every day and have no space to fit anything in. It has been like this for the past few months and it can get a little frustrating as I feel like I don't have time to do anything. I think most people will agree with me when I say...this is when I start to feel like I'm failing with some things in my life. I don't feel like I have the time to create amazing content everyday which I want, I don't have time to see everybody and I don't have time to keep up with anything...

But, when I actually sat down and realised how much I actually fit into a week...I should really give myself more credit.

It's so easy to get caught up in everything that you need to do in a day that sometimes, you forget about how much you are actually doing. We all have those days where we feel so exhausted from running around all day, but don't actually have anything to show from it. But guess what, that's ok!

A Perfect Gift For A Beauty Lover...

Today I wanted to show you something which I think would be a perfect gift idea for someone who loves makeup! I recently purchased something from Tanya Burrs Christmas collection and I am very impressed! If you're looking for a gift that includes a variety of products which are high quality and beautiful, then look no further!

This is the the Tanya Burr Beauty and the Feast Beauty Set. First of all, just look at the packaging! I haven't had any set before that comes like this, it's amazing. The little detailing on the packaging makes it very special and I'm also loving the Burgundy colour too. The top of the packaging is white glitter too so it makes the perfect gift! All tied together with a ribbon which then unfolds to reveal the products.

With this set you get 7 products. I have now had the chance to try all 7 and there isn't one that I don't like. I know that I will get a lot of use out of all of them! So...let's get on with it and let me show you what you get!

Too Tempting Eye Shadow Collection

This palette comes in the most amazing packaging...who would of guessed? I think that it's the perfect size too if you wanted to take it with you. It would fit perfectly in a handbag! The palette has a mirror inside too which everyone needs. There are 6 shades in total which all have a lovely formula, very easy to blend, pigmented and long lasting. I feel like you can create so many different looks with these shades and they are all wearable too! There is a light shade which is perfect for starting a look or using in the inner corner. There are then a mixture of nude and brown shades to create whichever look you want.

Sweet Cheeks Face Palette

Again...amazing packaging. Let's just say that all the packaging is beautiful instead of me repeating myself all the time! Included in this palette is a bronzer, blusher and highlighter. These are all powder products and I think the shades would suit a lot of people. They are pigmented and all work really well together too. The highlighter in particular is so beautiful!

Liquid Highlighter

Speaking of great highlighters...there is also another one in this set too! This one is a liquid highlighter and is more of a gold and bronzy shade. I think that this highlighter is the perfect product to wear alongside an eye look created with the palette. This highlighter gives you the perfect glow and is one that I think you will get compliments on for sure!

Cream Eye Shadow- Melt My Heart & Sweet Sugar

You also get two eye shadow sticks in this set too which have been a current favourite of mine recently. They are the easiest products to use to create a really pretty eye look. All you need to do it apply the products all over the lid and blend. I use the darker shade for the lid and the lighter one for the inner corner and the brow bone. I couldn't recommend these products enough at the moment!

Lipsticks- Belgian Truffle & Winter

Finally, Tanya Burr has released two new lip shades which are available for Christmas! They are included in this set and I think these shades are going to be very very popular! The first is called Belgian Truffle and this is a really pretty pinky nude shade. I think that this one is a perfect everyday shade! The second is a great shade for this time of year and the festive season. It's a darker red shade and I'm obsessed with it! It's called Winter and I just think that's a great way to sum it up...

So there you have it! That's the Tanya Burr Beauty and the Feast Beauty Set and all the products that you get included. It's currently on offer at Superdrug for £40. Personally, I wouldn't pay the full price of £50 for this but I think that the offer price is defiantly perfect value. The products always look more expensive and are high quality so it's perfect for makeup lovers! A great idea for someone you know who is a fan of beauty or a little treat from you to you this Christmas!

I will be back very soon with another post!

A Festive Look!

Today is the first of the Christmas posts! I honestly cant believe that we're now in December...where has the year gone? Today I wanted to create a look that was perfect for the festive season. I think that this would be perfect for a Christmas party...I think I am going to be wearing this look again for mine! Just a reminder that as always, this look is 100% cruelty free.

Little Drops Of Heaven...

I'm sorry to say that today I have another product review for you guys. Actually...I'm not sorry, because what I'm about to discuss, is amazing.

You may have already seen these and may already own one or more...but I can't tell you how happy I am that Barry M have released these. If you're obsessed with highlighters like most beauty people, then you're going to love these. The best way to describe these products are like little drops of heaven! Shall I just get on with it?

Barry M have recently released some liquid highlighters which have blown a lot of people away. Introducing the Liquid Chrome Highlighter drops. There are 5 different shades available and personally, I think they are all beautiful. I own three of these shades so far...key words in that sentence, SO FAR!

The first shade is called Moon Potion and I just love this. It's a white and silvery highlight and a popular shade. It just looks so beautiful on the cheekbones and I think a lot of you will love this one! The second shade is called Beam Me Up and this highlight is a golden shade. I think it's so pretty and works so well with any look! I much prefer to use this shade on a night look and it works perfectly! The final shade that I have is called Precious Pearl. This is also a white highlight but this one almost has a pink undertone to it. This one is perfect for a natural glow or can be built up too.

The pigmentation of these products is so amazing! I was so pleased with them and I can't believe how good they are. They are build-able so you can create a nice natural glow or an all out highlight! Which I have done and have had a few compliments on my highlight...YES!

I really love the packaging of these products. I think that they look a lot more expensive than they are. These are priced at £6.99 each which I think is a bargain for a good highlighter. I love the applicators as you can drop the liquid in the perfect place and blend it in. I use my finger to pat the product on first and then use a brush or my beauty sponge to blend it out! Super easy and simple.

If you're looking for a new highlighter which doesn't break the's your answer! I think the quality of these are really high! Em from Emtalks agreed with me that these are very similar to the Cover FX Drops which are priced at around £25 each.

I hope you enjoyed reading about these amazing products from Barry M. I would 100% recommend!

Illuminate Liquid Lipstcks!

For today's post we have another beauty product review! I have been wanting to write this post for a few weeks now and I'm so happy that I can finally share my thoughts. You will have heard me speak about Illuminate Cosmetics before on this blog. But if's the cosmetics line by Ashley Tisdale who is just an absolute goddess! She has recently added some new products to the line...and of course I had to give them a go!

Today I am going to be showing you three different liquid lipsticks which I have fallen in love with. I was expecting good things anyway as I love the brand, but my expectations were acceded for sure!

Home Decor: The Evolultion

Today's post is going to be something a little different. I'm going to be talking about a topic that I love here on the blog...home decor! But today I wanted to start a little discussion on how technology has emerged with home decor and how much of a difference this has made. You might even discover some great new products today that you didn't even know existed!

Digital photo frames has been something that I have began to see more and more of. Just recently I heard of Auru Frames, an online company that sells digital photo frame and personally, I think it's such a cool idea. Instead of buying loads and loads of frames, you can just have one which shows all your photos. I just love how it can be connected to your phone and it can go though so many images! Their frames come in a selection of colours, but my favourite...Ivory with a Rose Gold trim. Who would of guessed?

Another thing that I love about this brand is the work they have been doing with Charity: Water to create a crystal blue frame. You can find out more info here. They also think about the design of the frame and making sure its eco friendly in every way possible. Their frames include a light sensor to automatically adjust brightness and a proximity sensor to help signal when the screen should shut off.

Daisy x Ellie Goulding

I'm back!! After having a few weeks off, I'm back today with a new post. I didn't enjoy having time off blogging but it was what I needed due to been so so busy! But my posts will be returning back to normal now and I'm feeling more inspired than ever...

Today I am going to be talking about a jewellery piece which I have fallen in love with. If you love great accessory pieces, helping world climate, adore Ellie Goulding...keep on reading!

For my birthday, my mum bought me an amazing piece from the Daisy collection in collaboration with Ellie Goulding. Daisy London is an online jewellery brand who I absolutely adore. I love everything that they bring out and I just love the whole brand, what it stands for, the design...everything!

Guess who's now 20?

So guys...It's my birthday! Today I turn that sounds strange. But I thought that today would be the perfect day to write another blog post about some things that I have learnt. But this time, I'm going to do 20 things that I have learnt in 20 years!

1. How Important Yet Surprising Friendship Can be...

So, starting off with one of the most important ones! Friendship is a roller coaster for sure. Sometimes people may surprise you with their actions, you may drift apart from people who you thought would be there forever and some people just stick with you through everything. In 20 years, its safe to say...I've had a number of different friends! I believe that each person came into my life to teach me something, whether they are still with me or not! I am beyond grateful for the friends that I have found...they are truly the best! Friendship is so bloody important and it doesn't matter how many friends you have...a small handful of truly amazing friends is so much better than a large number of people who are only there for you sometimes...

2. Travelling is good for the soul

I am very lucky to say that I have been able to see a lot of different locations around the world. I am a massive fan of travelling and I personally believe it's so good for you. If I could spend all day everyday travelling as a job...I would! I just love seeing new places, experiencing new things and being in a different environment. It can change your perspective on so many things and makes you realise how grateful you are. Travelling is for sure one of the best things that I have done in 20 years...but it definitely doesn't end here! There are still so many places to see...

3. The world is a beautiful place

As I have got older, I have 100% realised how beautiful the world is and how much we need to look after it. When you're younger, you never realise how simple things that you do could be effecting the world. I am so happy that I have began to appreciate the world around me and want to look after it and improve it as much as I can. Climate change is so so important and I am proud to be apart of making a difference as much as I can.

4. Chocolate is the best!

In my 20 years...Chocolate is still by far one of the best things that I have discovered.

5. You don't always have to be happy.

This one again, is one that took me a while to figure out. You are allowed days of feeling down, where you want to speak to nobody or you just want to cry or scream! That's ok. Comparing yourself to others is a terrible habit. Just because someones life seems so happy and perfect on Instagram, doesn't mean a thing. Social media is where we put all the good things, but you never know what is going on behind closed doors. Some people struggle on a day to day basis, some people may struggle with mental health or some people just have their down days! But again...that's ok. You don't have to be happy all the time!

6. Photography is a passion

Another thing that I have become to love is photography. I have loved learning about it, using different equipment to capture photos and being really creative. It's something that I will always love and I'm so happy that I get to experience it all the time!

7. My love for blogging

Linking on from the previous love for blogging. I can't even describe how happy I am that I have this little space on the internet. Who would have thought that the day I hit upload on my first blog post would turn into this! I am so obsessed with blogging and love it more and more everyday. I love the community, my readers and being able to share everything with you guys!

8. Kindness costs nothing

This is an important one to me for sure. Being polite, supportive and nice is just so easy to do. People often forget how something so small can change someones day. Let's face it, things can get hard so what's wrong with a bit of kindness! I always try my hardest to be as kind as I can as I believe it's the right attitude to have. Remember...Kindness costs nothing.

9. Finding my style

In 20 years, it's safe to say that my fashion has changed numerous times! From the cute baby clothes, to the horrible coats your mum used to dress you in, to the first time you got to dress yourself and you looked horrendous to this day today where things are so much better. We all have those embarrassing outfits in old photos where our parents thought it was cute...but it really wasn't! There were times in high school where we thought cropped leggings and thin eyebrows and beads we amazing. Times when we had questionable hairstyles and strange shoes. But this is all apart of growing up and I'm happy to say...I definitely know what suits me now. I feel like I have found my style...thank god for that!

10. I don't think I could live without music!

Music is a massive part of a lot of peoples lives and I listen to it on a daily basis. Music has changed so much in 20 years and I have listened to all sorts! I am a big fan of a wide range of music. I listen to old songs, some rock bands, some chart music, musicals, indie name it! I like having a varied taste to keep it interesting. Music is just the best. Singing in the car, being in your own little bubble with your headphones, soundtracks in films, dancing on a night out, is everywhere!

11. Obsessed with TV and films...

Let's face it...I'm so bloody obsessed with TV shows and films. I get so attached to characters, feel so many emotions and spend a large amount of my spare time with my eyes glued to a screen.

12. Sometimes I'd choose the cinema over a night out?

Leading on from this...I have learnt how much I LOVE the cinema! Sometimes, I would much rather pick a cinema night instead of a night out...but who cares? Seeing new films gives me a lot of happiness!

13. The journey with body image.

This one is a tough one, simply because I am not fully there yet. Everyone will agree in saying that growing up and body image...the two don't always mix that well. There are just so many changes and it gets to a point where you find it very difficult to like the body that you're in. I am so much happier since I started the gym and started taking my fitness seriously...but I'm still no where near where I want to be. I have days where I hate every inch but then I have days where I feel strangely confident. This is just all apart of growing up and I don't think this will ever change!

14. Crazy obsession with makeup!

Makeup is now a big part of my life and it's something that I love. I enjoy spending my money on beauty products and I get excited over them too. Some people aren't makeup people, but hey, that's ok as it's not for everyone. I can happily say that I am sooo much better at makeup than I ever was, but still have so much to learn for sure. I remember the days when clear mascara and lip-gloss were a thing...much simpler days but it's safe to say that makeup has advanced a lot since then...and so has my makeup collection!

15. Sometimes things goes wrong...

Life isn't perfect. We all know that. Its normal for things to go wrong, for things to turn out not as we expected or for mistakes to happen. But that's ok. I have made a handful of mistakes in 20 years, some I wish didn't happen but at the end of the day...everything happens for a reason. You will always learn from a mistake and it might even make you a stronger person. The things that go wrong in our life only shape us as a person. But don't get me wrong...there are also a lot of things that go right in your life too. It's great when that happens!

16. Learning not to care.

This is something that I have only learnt to conquer recently. It does take a while to build a thick skin and grow some confidence...but I finally think I'm nailing it. Learning not to care about what others think is honestly one of the best things that you can do. At the end of the day, as long as it makes you happy, that's all what is important. If I didn't feel this way, I would of never have started by blog. So I'm glad that I pushed past that barrier and carried on, because I've never been happier. Wear what you want, do what makes you happy and remember to keep smiling!

17. More and more inspiring people!

In my 20 years, I have discovered sooo many inspiring people. This could be people in my family, friends, celebrities, name it! I love finding inspiration from people. Being inspired is one of the best feelings and always motivates me. It could be an amazing performance in a film, a kind and heroic act someone did, someones looks that wows me, someones incredible blog post...the list is endless. I am always looking to the people that inspire me on an everyday basis. It pushes me to work hard, challenge myself and go that step further. Some people that inspire me are In The Frow, Jennifer Lawrence, Nikki Reed, my sister, and so many more people!

18. Constantly dreaming...

I am a dreamer. I always have a list of things that I want to achieve and I'm just a very ambitious person. I will always aim high and be coming up with something new that I want to do every single week. I actually really love this part of me as it makes me happy when I tick something off my list! My bucket list is forever growing and I'm ok with that!

19. Cruelty free all the way!

If you know me well or have been a loyal will know how much cruelty free means to me. I am so happy that I made the change and actually starting thinking about what I was buying and how it was making a difference. I absolutely adore animals to pieces and the thought of someone hurting them for a beauty product or fashion makes me feel sick. Becoming a vegetarian and having a cruelty free lifestyle if 100% one of the best changes that I have ever made.

20. Growing up is a challenge!

To finish things off...I thought I would of course include this one. Growing up is difficult. It's never going to be easy I'm afraid and will always be full of ups and downs...but that's life. It's what shapes us into individuals and helps us realise who we are! I have had so many experiences, gone through so many emotions and I'm only 20 years in! From taking my first steps, my first day at school, my first boyfriend, my first best friend, my first time drinking, my first night out, my first heartbreak, my first job, my first time travelling, my first blog post...It's been one hell of a journey and I'm excited for the next chapter! Growing up is a journey but one that everyone has to go on. Surround yourself with the right people, do what makes you happy and you'll be just fine.

So that's all for today's blog post! I hope you enjoyed reading all about 20 things that I have learnt in 20 years. I just wanted to say in advance (because I know how lovely you all are)...thank you for all the birthday messages! I will be at work but once I'm done it's a takeaway and Mamma Mia for me! Bliss...I will be back next time with another blog post.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Lash Mascara

Today's post is a review of a new beauty product that I have recently purchased. This was a product that I was desperate to try when I heard it was being released and I am so bloody happy that I got my hands on one. I have been testing this product out for over a week now, and I had to let you guys know my thoughts!

The beauty product that I'm going to be talking about today is the wonderful Tanya Burr's new mascara from her cosmetics line. This is the first mascara that she has released and I'm going to be honest, I'm obsessed. This product is apart of the Selfie Story range and the official name of this product is: Selfie Story Lash Mascara. It's a black mascara which is available in stores or online I believe! Tanya's products always seem to go above and beyond my expectations, so there's no surprise that I loved this product. The reason that I love this brand so much, is because the packaging is always beautiful, looking very high quality! But the prices are so so affordable and the quality is unreal. Some of my all time favourite products are from this brand and yes I'm going to put it out there...this is the BEST drugstore mascara I have ever used!

A Weekend Away To My Favourite Place

Last weekend... I got to spend it in one of my favourite places! If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know how much I adore this place. That's right, I spent the weekend in Brighton! Brighton is just the place to be. It has everything you could possibly need and more. I must admit, the whether wasn't great this time, but that didn't stop us from exploring and having a good time.

I went with two of my step sisters this time. Neither of them had been before, so I got to be a little tour guide for the weekend. It feels like home more and more every time I visit. I knew my way around so easily and I have started to know the little streets and shortcuts! I just love the feeling of walking around and imagining myself living there...It NEEDS to happen soon!

We spent the majority of Saturday seeing all the main tourist bits and taking some pictures. The sea, the beach huts, the bandstand, the pier, the lanes...all the good stuff! I took them to all the places that I love and I just loved seeing it all again for myself. Although I've seen these things numerous times before, I just love going back to them again and again. There is nothing at all where I live and no spots to go and see. But in Brighton, there's something around every corner and that's one thing that I love about it. We had tea at Ask Italian down the lanes which was delicious! I love how much choice there is for food in Brighton, you'd never be left without any food! We also went to one of the pubs on the sea front which I've never done before. I've walked past them loads of times and always wanted to go in. We went into Tempest Inn and it was so cool inside! You should defiantly go if you're in Brighton. Really cool decor, lovely staff and a great location.

We were lucky enough to get tickets to see Lorde on the Saturday night at Brighton Centre. Let's just! I was expecting it to be good, but the whole show just went above and beyond. Lorde is honestly the most genuine, fun and loveliest person! Her voice is incredible, her outfits are amazing and her dancing is the best! I just loved hearing her sing all the songs off her new album, which is amazing by the way, and she loved having conversations and talks with us all too! The atmosphere was by far an amazing thing I'll never forget! I would LOVE to go and see her again in the future. What a night! The support act for Lorde was also very very good. He was called Khalid and it's someone that I had never heard of before. I am now pretty obsessed with his songs. Very talented, super cool and a great dancer!

On Sunday we decided to go and visit a few shops and see the last few bits before heading home. I went to one of my favourite Jewlerry shops in Brighton called Lovisa. It's so affordable and they sell some beautiful pieces. We also went to Photomatic as this is 100% a tradition when I go to Brighton. I'm sure a lot of you will know about this place, but you can go in and get a cute 4 picture Polaroid! There's a black and white machine and also a colour machine. One of my favourite places in Brighton for sure. It's located opposite the Komedia. I have to go and get one every time I go to Brighton, my collection is coming together nicely!

We ended the trip off by going to Boho Gelato and getting some food on the Pier. A typical seaside thing to do! I always get really sad when it comes to going home as I never want to leave. I am so happy that I have finally found a place where I feel at home and happy, but It's such a shame that I can't stay there! I know that I will move there over the next few years, but these things take time of course!

So that's it for today's post. I just thought that I would share my weekend with you guys as I had such a lovely time in Brighton. I really loved some of the pictures that I took so a diary post today felt right. I will be doing more of these when I have weekends away for sure!
